Natural gas supplies from Russia to Armenia to be temporarily suspended

Natural gas supplies to Armenia from Russia will be temporarily suspended due to scheduled maintenance and repair work being carried out in Russian territory, Gazprom Armenia CJSC reports.

“Due to scheduled preventive maintenance and comprehensive repair work on the North Caucasus–Transcaucasia main gas pipeline in Russian territory, the supply of natural gas to Armenia through the aforementioned pipeline will be temporarily suspended from September 15 to 25.

During this period, uninterrupted and reliable gas supplies to consumers across the republic will be ensured without restrictions, using domestic reserves and additional volumes of natural gas supplied from the Islamic Republic of Iran,” the statement says.
